Is your Dental Practice Ready to Try A Digital Solution?
You can help to set your practice aside from the competition when you adopt any of our chair-side digital impression systems. You will instantly increase the value of what you offer and boost your client’s impression of your practice.
In addition to an increased speed of production and case data transmission, digital dental solutions also remove the need for impression materials and trays. Without the delay of shipping impressions to our dental lab, and the increased speed of digital transmissions, you can expect your patient’s restorations to be put into production faster; resulting in much faster turnaround time for production and delivery.
IDA’s digital workflow systems have been shown to reduce the number of remakes when it comes to crown margins, fitting, and occlusion issues. Distortion issues that are common with traditional impression materials and stone laboratory models can also be avoided.
For your patients, this ultimately means a quicker and more accurate dental restoration process and increased satisfaction.
If you are considering implementing a digital system in your practice or you have questions to ask, our team is always happy to help.

Dental Impression Fitting Information
Our professional team ensures a good fitting reline, every time:
Before taking your impression, remove at least 1 mm of acrylic on the tissue side of the denture. Doing this will allow for the full coverage on the tissue side of the denture with the impression material. Not removing the acrylic could also result in opening the bite.
If you get burn through or thin spots, you can mark those areas and remove more of the acrylic for full coverage. If you leave those areas, there is a chance of compression on the tissue with the hard acrylic which could cause distortion in the master cast.
While taking the impression, make sure the patient has closed into occlusion and stays in occlusion.
Taking a few minutes to acquire a full coverage impression without any thin spots or burn through should help you deliver a good fitting reline.
The way the reline is processed can also help.
Conventional reline processing using a reline jig is common for “1 day” relines. This method is a fast cure and can leave more monomer in the denture. Slow processing overnight gives you a better fit and more of the residual monomer is removed. Remember, the fit can only be as good as the impression that is taken, and the processing method.
