Lance Russell opened IDA's doors in Tulsa with one priority: build real relationships with the dentists he served, and deliver work they could be proud of. Forty years later, his daughter Amanda Arthur leads the team. The standards haven't changed.

Amanda Arthur
/ General Manager
Amanda Arthur serves as IDA's VP of Client Services and is the daughter of Lance Russell. An industry professional for over 15 years, Amanda is committed to giving IDA clients unparalleled customer service, support, and the highest quality of products that are available in the dental industry today. Amanda is also one of IDA's certified chair-side support technicians.
Adam Brewer
/ General Manager
Adam Brewer is the General Manager of IDA with nearly two decades of experience in the dental implant industry, beginning his career in 2007 alongside his father, Larry Brewer, at Brewer Dental Lab. After Larry's unexpected passing in 2010, Adam led BDL's growth into one of Oklahoma's largest and most respected dental laboratories. He has developed extensive expertise in full-arch implant rehabilitation, completing more than 2,500 full-arch conversions with a focus on All-on-X restorations and chairside conversions. Known for his hands-on approach, Adam's passion is collaborating with restorative dentists and surgeons to deliver predictable, life-changing outcomes for patients.
Amanda Elder
/ Lab Manager
Amanda Elder began her dental laboratory career at age 15 in her parents' lab and later spent 15 years with National Dentex, earning her Certified Dental Technician designation in removable dentures and certification in the Shipman/Massad technique. She joined Brewer Dental Laboratory in 2018 and was promoted to Removable Department Manager in 2020, leading daily operations, production workflow, and quality standards. Now serving as Lab Manager, she combines deep technical knowledge with proven leadership.
Jafaar Tafla
/ Clinical Specialists
Jaafar Tafla graduated from the Luigi Orlando Dental Institute in Livorno, Italy, and spent 17 years in an in-house dental lab before owning and operating Tafla Dental Lab for 13 years, which merged with Brewer Dental Lab in 2017. He specializes in full-mouth rehabilitation and All-on-X implant cases, including scanning, design, and finishing, and has assisted doctors chairside with complex restorative cases. He has furthered his training through the Pankey Institute, Misch Implant Institute, and Nobel Implant programs.
Clint Carson
/ Clinical Specialists
Clinton Carson, CDT, has more than 20 years of expertise in removable prosthetics, quality control, technician development, and laboratory operations. As Quality Control Manager, he works with technicians and leadership to improve case consistency, reduce remakes, and strengthen workflows. He also provides technical guidance for complex removable cases, implant conversions, and doctor communication, having previously managed lab teams and owned his own dental lab.
Janet Jones
/ Clinical Specialists
Janet Jones has decades of expertise in porcelain, esthetics, anatomy, function, and complex restorative cases since beginning her career in 1988 after graduating from Tulsa VoTech. Since 2014, she has served as Porcelain Department Manager at IDA, focusing on precision, consistency, and highly esthetic restorations. She has trained under industry leaders like Lee Culp and Kiyoshi "Kite" Saito, and her experience includes porcelain-to-metal crowns, feldspathic veneers, Emax, zirconia, and All-on-X cases.
Dorothy Faas
/ Clinical Specialists
Dorothy Faas brings 35 years of dental artistry and technical expertise, having started her laboratory career at age 19. She specializes in high-precision crown and bridge fabrication, with skills spanning traditional waxing and casting to CAD design, 3D printing, and milling. Dorothy's deep understanding of dental anatomy ensures every restoration meets the highest standards for doctors and patients. Outside of work, she enjoys cheering on athletes at local fight nights and teaching boxing fundamentals.
Chris Hutchison
/ Team Leader: Implants
Chris Hutchinson has more than 22 years of experience in dental laboratory technology, specializing in fixed, implant, and digital dentistry. As Head of the Implant Department at International Dental Arts, he leads implant workflows, case coordination, and technical support for complex restorative cases. A former dental lab owner and president, his expertise includes CAD/CAM technology, 3Shape, and digital workflows, and dentists rely on him for predictable, high-quality results.
Elizabeth Drew
/ Team Leader: Fixed
Elizabeth Drew has nearly three decades of experience in restorative dentistry, specializing in dental ceramics, esthetics, and functional restorations since starting her career in 1996 and graduating from Tulsa Technology Center in 1997. She has studied under master ceramists including Lee Culp, Mariano Maurizi, and Kiyoshi "Kite" Saito, strengthening her expertise in color theory and dental anatomy. Since 2021, she has served as Porcelain Department Manager, combining technical mastery with leadership to deliver lifelike, esthetic restorations.
Carlos Cruz
/ Team Leader: Removables
Carlos Cruz is a Dental Laboratory Technician with over 14 years of experience specializing in removable prosthetics. As Removable Department Lead at International Dental Arts, he oversees production, quality, and workflow to ensure cases are completed accurately and on time. He is skilled in dentures, partials, immediate dentures, repairs, relines, wax-ups, finishing, and polishing, making him a trusted resource for his team and clinicians.
Christina Shipley
/ Team Leader: Customer Success
Chris Shipley is a Tulsa, Oklahoma native with more than two decades of experience in the dental industry and a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern State University. He began his career at his family's business, Flud Dental Laboratory, before gaining additional experience in the dental supply industry and returning to lab work full-time in 2003. Since joining Brewer Dental Lab in 2018, he has supported exceptional service and operational excellence.
