NO CONTRACT. NO MINIMUM. PRICED PER CASE.
IDA does not require a written contract for new client accounts. Cases are priced per case. The price for any given case is transparent at the time of the prescription.
No volume tiers to hit, no annual contracts to sign, no surprises at month-end. Quote the case, see the number, send the case.
Estimate your case ready date.
Pick a product and a start date to get an estimated ready date. Business days only — shipping time is not included.
Estimates only. Digital cases start counting the day received; analog cases start the day after. Rushes available on select products — ask your account contact.
Three steps to your first case.
A quick conversation, a dedicated contact, and your first case sent with full case-planning support.
Get Started-
01 Step 1
Schedule a consult.
A quick call to walk through your practice, answer questions, and plan your first case together. -
02 Step 2
Meet your account contact.
A consistent contact who knows your scanner, your typical cases, and how you like things done. -
03 Step 3
Send your first case.
Standard IDA case-planning treatment with extra coordination on the front end. By the third or fourth case, the rhythm settles in.
Extra care on the first case.
Your account contact will reach out before fabrication starts to confirm prep details, scanner setup, and shipping path. The case itself runs on our standard turnaround. After delivery, we follow up on the case — what worked, what didn’t, anything we’d adjust for the next one. By the third or fourth case, the coordination overhead drops to zero and the lab-and-practice rhythm settles in.

BEFORE YOUR FIRST CASE.

Once we have the scan or model and the prescription, fabrication runs on our standard TAT. For your first case specifically, expect a coordination call before fabrication starts.
No. IDA does not require a written contract for new client accounts.
No. We work with practices of every volume level, from solo practitioners sending a case a month to multi-doctor practices sending dozens.
Common situation. We’ll coordinate the transition on a planning call: in-progress cases at the previous lab, scanner routing, prescription pad updates, and any case-history details that will help your account contact get to a good rhythm faster.
Every major intraoral scanner. For details see intraoral scanners.
Phone, during lab hours. The lab front desk will route you. If they’re not available, another tech will pick up the case-planning conversation in the meantime.
Calls get answered fastest. The form is for non-urgent messages and after-hours requests.
After-hours protocol confirmed at onboarding. Most cases route through the standard line; truly urgent overnight situations get a direct contact path on a per-client basis.
No. IDA works directly with dentists in offering the very best in dental lab services and products for their patients. We do not work with the general public.
Application: Before going in with the tray material, apply the material onto the occlusal surface of the teeth with finger pressure, and apply to the borders and undercut areas with a catheter syringe.
Material: We highly recommend the Accudent Alginate from Ivoclar. This material is extremely accurate when handled correctly. We do not advocate for fast-set materials, as they seem to begin to set up prior to even entering the oral environment. Pour up the impression immediately. We recommend using Silky Rock stone with a mechanical mixer.
Cord packing is a must! Begin by packing a small cord, followed by a large cord. As you begin to pull out the large cord, follow behind it with the tip of your syringe of light body, and continue around the full prep using an excessive amount of material. Leave in the small cord and take the impression with heavy body material. If the small cord comes out when the impression is removed, leave the cord in the impression.
Impergum, a polyether, which also has other brand names such as Polygel, is a good choice. Polyethers seem to work well in most all situations of crown and bridge.
We accept scans from all major intraoral scanner systems, so you can use the technology that best fits your practice.
If you’re considering purchasing a scanner or looking for a more affordable way to transition to digital workflows, ask us about our Scanner Lease Program. We offer three scanner options designed to fit a variety of practice needs and budgets, making it easy to get started without a significant upfront investment.
While rising gold prices have led many practices to choose zirconia restorations, gold continues to offer exceptional longevity, biocompatibility, and wear characteristics. In fact, many clinicians still consider gold to be the gold standard for certain posterior restorations.
At IDA, we offer a full range of both zirconia and gold restorations, allowing you to choose the material that’s best for each clinical situation and your patient’s needs.
If you’d like to discuss the advantages of each option, our technical team is happy to help. Give us a call, and we’ll help you determine the best solution for your next case.
