In the world of digital impressioning, what systems are the best bang for your money?

The iTero Scanner is still proving to be the best technology on the market for the price. The models we receive from them are high-quality, and the restorations fit every single time. What type of impression material do you recommend?

Impergum is a polyether comes in other brand names, such as Polygel and serves as a good choice. Polyethers seem to work well in almost all situations for crown and bridge work.

What is the latest in regards to gold crowns since gold is now so expensive?

We are seeing a growing trend towards Zirconia.

My personal preference is still a good old-fashioned gold crown, but I definitely understand where the price of gold has become a major factor in prescribing gold crowns.

At IDA, we offer a Blaze gold crown (AU 5%, PD 32%, IN 30%, ZN 1%) that is much more economically sound, and still offers the beauty and strength of gold but at a much lower price.
